The Office Outdoors delivers programs and workshops aimed at creating success through developing high-performance teams and leaders.
Kathy Connolly, Founder and Principal
Kathy’s focus on team-building grew out of her extensive experience as a seasoned project manager, and the realization of the importance of high team functioning to project success. Team growth is always on Kathy’s radar: her programs deliver not only immediate objectives, but also inspire change that has long-term benefits.
A spirit of fun, plus real-world experience
Kathy’s team-building and facilitation expertise is grounded in over fifteen years experience in project and program management, and sales and marketing at leading companies in industries ranging from financial services, to high tech and health care. A veteran of leading companies including Tufts Health Plan, MasterCard International, and Technology Management Consulting, International, Kathy has won awards and industry recognition for her project management leadership. Kathy is known for her interactive, fun, and engaging work style.
Work hard, play hard
A graduate of Russell Sage College, Kathy holds a B.S. degree in Management and Economics, and is Myers-Briggs certified. Kathy incorporates fitness, and a love for nature and outdoor adventures, such as cycling, kayaking and hiking, into all aspects of her life. She is a competitive triathlete and a seasonal cycling guide for Vermont Bicycle Tours (VBT).
In addition to Kathy, The Office Outdoors uses a network of expert facilitators and team-development partners who can help create and deliver a customized program to meet your needs and schedule.

Nancy Settle-Murphy
Nancy Settle-Murphy, principal and owner of , helps organizations achieve exceptional results within a surprisingly short time though highly-productive conversations. A skilled cross-cultural communicator and seasoned facilitator, Nancy plans and runs high-impact working sessions, applying the best combination of methods, tools, and techniques for each unique client situation. Guided Insights also provides training and coaching in several areas, including facilitation skills, intercultural communications, remote team leadership, and change management.
Stephanie Goodell
Stephanie Goodell is an organizational development consultant and job coach who has a background in
higher education and leadership development. She has worked with colleges & universities, domestic & international
non-profits and corporations as a leadership educator for over12 years. Stephanie is a seasoned facilitator
who integrates theory with experiential learning- the result is engaging programs based on time tested
industry knowledge and effective learning for participants. During her career, she has developed
an expertise in leadership programs and has specific interests in women in leadership and Generation
Y in the workplace. Stephanie is a graduate of Western Carolina University and holds a Master’s
in Education from the University of Tennessee. She is an avid cyclist and is dedicated to helping
