Facilitation Skills Training: Transforming Technical Consultants into Great Meeting Leaders*

Project meetings can be critical, with client relationships, key buy-ins, and project timelines hinging on the outcome. Yet the technical consultants called upon to plan and lead these meetings often lack training in facilitation skills. The Office Outdoors provides Facilitation Skills Training to help technical consultants acquire the skills to facilitate meetings with confidence and success.

This one-day workshop provides technical consultants with tips, tools and experiential learning activities to develop competency and confidence in leading important client meetings. This workshop is customized for each client, and includes a pre-workshop assessment of participants’ needs.

This workshop is limited to four participants, each of whom will simulate a real-life facilitation situation, followed by a constructive critique and an individualized follow-up plan.
