Project JumpStart*
This two-day workshop gets project teams out of the starting gate quickly by reaching agreement on key factors most likely to affect the speed, quality and results of important projects.
Over the course of the workshop, participants will develop working relationships and articulate shared objectives, norms and working principles, creating a strong foundation for a high-functioning team—and project success.
This workshop will help teams:
Reach key project initialization milestones
- Validate project scope, major deliverables, and timeframe
- Clarify roles, responsibilities and reporting relationships
Create shared operating principles that will promote effective team functioning
- Reach agreement on team processes for decision-making, reviews, change requests, and issue resolution
- Develop a communications process for project team and stakeholders
- Cultivate an appreciation for different learning styles and communication preferences
Minimize chances for costly disruptions as the project moves forward
- Articulate critical success factors, risks and key dependencies
- Identify organizational interfaces, politics and cultural considerations
- Provide a safe forum for surfacing potential issues
